Valmet is adding a new circulate control solutions service centre in Antofagasta, Chile, expanding its offering to the mining and metals business.
The Antofagasta service centre begins operating this month.
The new Antofagasta service centre will provide a full range of move control providers, together with the alternative and upkeep of valves, pumps and third-party gear. It will allow agile delivery of critical spare and put on components as properly as digital tools and providers for the whole product and plant life cycle. The service centre will also function a buyer training facility.
The Valmet portfolio for mining, metals and metal includes the Neles, Jamesbury, Neles Easyflow and Flowrox manufacturers.
Valmet entered into the circulate control enterprise in April 2022 when the industrial flow management firm Neles was merged into Valmet.
“Over the years, we’ve systematically expanded our move control installed base and resolution providing for the mining and metals business in the region,” says Fabio Maia, head of the South & Central America Area at Valmet’s Flow Control business line. “The new facility allows us to higher respond to the growing demand for customer assist in addition to drive our expansion in minerals processing. From Antofagasta, our service groups shall be near customer operations in Chile and in Peru.”
