Organisers of Singapore’s Formula 1 Grand Prix are taking steps to cut back the event’s carbon footprint. One step is using sustainable fuels to replace fossil fuels as part of their sustainability objectives in the upcoming evening race at Marina Bay Sands this September. The event is reportedly creating its personal one hundred pc “sustainable” gas, including elements derived from carbon capture, municipal garbage, and non-food biomass.
No questions asked may also be carried out this 12 months, which the Singapore Tourism Board and race organiser Singapore GP say shall be used to plan different green initiatives over the following seven years.
