PG Flow Solutions has secured a contract to deliver pumps to another two wellboats that the Norwegian shipbuilder Aas Mekaniske Verksted is developing for Sølvtrans.

PG Flow Solutions will present eight large seawater circulation pumps for every of the 2 wellboats. The Norwegian firm will also provide numerous engine room pumps which may be required for the primary engine and support engines, as nicely as other general-purpose pumps as required for operating the wellboats.
The two wellboats are Aas Mekaniske Verksted newbuilds 213 and 214.
PG Flow Solutions recently won contracts to supply pumps for newbuilds 208 – 212, that are all Sølvtrans wellboats.

“The wellboats have been designed with fish welfare in mind. Our seawater circulation pumps have been developed with an equivalent philosophy. The merging of our technologies therefore is sensible operationally, financially and from an animal health perspective.”
