KSB Group has received a contract to ship 14 massive submersible motor pumps for flood management in Paraguay.

The KSB pumps will equip a selection of pumping stations belonging to the “Costanera de Pilar y management de inundaciones” venture. They shall be used to stop future flooding during the high-water season alongside the tributaries of the Río Paraguay.
The city of Pilar is located 230 km south-west of Paraguay’s capital Asunción, on the Argentinian border.

The pump units are expected to be delivered by the end of this year.
