A man wielding knives went on a rampage near a busy buying centre in Nonthaburi, Thailand, allegedly because of stress from being unemployed. Officers from the Bang Bua Thong Police Station have been alerted to the frenzied incident at around 8pm yesterday, which saw the person brandishing sharp weapons and attacking cars amongst nearby pedestrians.
At the scene, officers discovered a fifty one 12 months old man, Chaiwat, shirtless and sporting black trousers, behaving erratically while allegedly drunk. The man was holding knives in his arms and seemed to be uncontrolled in the shopping centre’s car park. Police tried to negotiate with Chaiwat for over an hour but to no avail, finally arresting him later on.
