The Israeli army reported that the last warning sirens had been heard close to the Gaza border at around 5:30am. Since yesterday morning, around one hundred rockets have been fired by militant groups from Gaza towards Israel, as acknowledged by Islamic Jihad. In response, the Israeli military reported carrying out a quantity of air strikes on Gaza early at present, concentrating on “weapons manufacturing sites, outposts, military complexes and an underground terror tunnel” linked to Hamas.
