A wedding in India was cancelled after the bride found the groom’s baldness in the course of the ceremony, inflicting her to faint mid-event. Following her recovery, she demanded the wedding be known as off, sparking disputes between both families.
The incident occurred in India on February 23, 2023, as the groom and his household visited the bride’s home for the marriage ceremony. As the event unfolded, the bride seen the groom’s confused expression and his fixed readjusting of a big wig. After confronting the groom’s household, she discovered the truth about his baldness.
Astounded, the bride approached the groom and discreetly examined his hair. Upon discovering the truth, she fainted in shock, alarming the friends. Once revived, her first response was to name off the marriage instantly, despite attempts from members of the family to influence her otherwise. The bride insisted she wouldn’t marry a bald man underneath any circumstances.
Subsequently, a heated argument broke out between the two families. However, the groom and his household had been eventually left empty-handed. Both events later visited their native police station, with the groom’s side reporting the incident, and the bride’s family accusing the groom and his mother and father of deception.
Economical told the media that the bride was not ready for married life after seeing the groom’s wig. Although either side filed complaints, household elders eventually settled the matter. The police mentioned, “They filed complaints, but in the end, each parties withdrew their complaints and resolved the difficulty on the household stage.”
