The new WSP Extreme Series features the following generation of packing which uses fibre strengthened elastomers which provides an excellent packing life, and high levels of security and environmental efficiency.
The series contains four completely different stress ring choices together with bronze, silver, gold, and platinum, to provide the end-user with the most appropriate product for their production software.
CDI’s Well Service product supervisor, Paul Helton, said that the company had endeavoured to create a brand new WSP line to fulfill the increasing challenges in the downhole pressure pumping market. He added: “When mixed with our SandDog header ring, the WSP Extreme Series substantially extends the life of the packing set and causes a lot less put on and tear on the pump’s mating parts, that means the fluid-end packing bores and plungers.”
