In an industry first, Armstrong Fluid Technology has unveiled its Design Envelope fireplace pump unit together with Fire Pump Manager, a related service for tracking pump performance.
In addition to offering important new safety advantages, Armstrong’s Design Envelope hearth pump holds the distinction of being the primary self-regulating variable-speed fireplace pump to fulfill NFPA-20 (2019 Edition), Section 4.8 standards.
“Key value points for patrons are the cost savings and performance improvements that end result from eliminating many pressure-reducing valves from the sprinkler system,” stated Steven Baird, advertising manager, Fire Products, Building Systems Solutions. “This design allows simplification of the piping design for a safer, more economical fireplace suppression system.”
Other the advantages include cost-savings of as a lot as £1,100 (US$1,500) per sprinkler branch, per flooring; increased reliability and security; higher design flexibility; the flexibility to foretell and report potential gear failure; and a discount within the variety of zones in a sprinkler system and the potential elimination of storage tanks.
Up-sell helps to ensure protected, dependable performance in hearth suppression systems, and supplies complete transparency into the testing and reliability of the pump,” Baird added.
