Sulzer has to quickly suspend the activities of its two authorized entities in Poland – Sulzer Pumps Wastewater Poland and Sulzer Turbo Services Poland – due to sanctions levied by the Polish authorities on its Russian minority shareholder Viktor Vekselberg.

The Swiss engineering group believes that the sanctions in opposition to its two entities in Poland are misguided and says that Vekselberg has no management or possession of any Sulzer entity.
The company says it will continue to do every thing in its energy to petition for a elimination from the sanctions record, whereas fully complying with the sanctions at present levied towards Sulzer Pumps Wastewater Poland and Sulzer Turbo Services Poland.
Sulzer has 192 staff in Poland and the group is continuing to supply support to the families impacted by the native Polish sanctions.
