The Thai Culture Ministry voiced its intentions of capitalising on the increased recognition of Thai areas, brought on by their appearance within the latest Korean television sequence, King the Land. Recognising this upswing in interest, the ministry plans to attract extra Korean vacationers and followers of the drama to those particular sites, boosting Thai tourism.
Culture Minister Itthiphol Kunplome attributed the continuing recognition of these locations to the TV series, which he mentioned had highlighted the charm of Thailand while simultaneously offering an uptick in Thai tourism.
“We needed to praise King the Land as it helps represent and promote Thai cultures and our lifestyle to worldwide audiences. We encourage those who are watching the series to visit Thailand and go to the locations the place it was shot.”
