The Digital Economy and Society Minister, Chaiwut Thanakamanusorn, travelled to Singapore yesterday to sign a digital partnership agreement with Singapore’s Trade and Industry Minister Gan Kim Yong.
Chaiwut, along with the Thai ambassador to Singapore, and the Thai PM’s secretary, met with Gan Kim Yong and agreed to promote eight items on the MoU agenda, including digital transformation, e-commerce insurance policies, faux news centre, government knowledge centre and cloud service, private knowledge protection, investment in Thailand’s Digital Valley and IoT Institute, and the development in digital abilities and literacy.
All-inclusive and his staff also visited Singaporean Communications and Information Minister, Josephine Teo, to debate the personal knowledge protection venture in additional detail. The 50 year outdated Thai minister revealed Singapore is ready to help Thailand in managing this system.
Chaiwut says the Singaporean authorities is thinking about digital investment and wished to assist Thailand fulfil its high potential in that space and entice the attention of a new technology of buyers.
The minister added he would talk about the digital economy settlement between Singapore and Thailand with PM Prayut Chan-o-cha on his return to the kingdom, and is happy to listen to that Singapore considers Thailand a leading digital nation in ASEAN..
