For the very first time in its history, St�rk Mess- und Regeltechnik GmbH in Dolle opened its factory doors to the general public. This was to commemorate 20 years of this temperature measuring technology company from the WIKA Group.
? and experience a guided tour of the factory, learning how temperature measuring instruments are manufactured industrially.
The anniversary and the associated open house at St�rk in Dolle was celebrated with a summer party. Among other things, anyone who was interested was given the opportunity to discover a bit more concerning the location. About 150 guests from business and politics were invited, together with the employees and their own families, along with about 250 other visitors.
Everyone enjoyed a diverse and varied range of entertainments on the company premises, including drink and food, a raffle, activities for the children and music provided by DJ Duke. Kickstart was showcased in a series of guided tours. Visitors were also in a position to gain an impression of St�rk and WIKA at a stand with brochures and informative material, or in personal discussions. The guests also had the chance ? with friendly support ? to make their own thermometer.
Thanks to the help of the complete workforce and the support of the community of Burgstall, who provided and erected a marquee for the event, come early july party was a great success.
And soon? a fresh name for St�rk
Alexander Wiegand in conversation with employees and visitors
In his opening address, Alexander Wiegand recounted the story of the acquisition of St�rk and its subsequent development as an associate of the WIKA Group. The CEO wished the management and payroll staff all the very best for the future, into which St�rk is embarking under a new name: one that will include WIKA. The workforce will be involved in the choice of the missing part of that new company name.
At the moment, the infrastructure-related conditions for the successful further development of the Dolle site may also be being improved: The town will have slip road usage of the new motorway, and some time ago optical fibre cables started getting installed to provide broadband to the region.
