The first ever Phuket Cannabis Cup will happen this month, hosted by Poonwarit Wangpatravanich, the pinnacle of the Phuket Cannabis Association, together with members of the Phuket Cannabis Association or PCA, and a community of cannabis businesses in Thailand.
The event is scheduled for March 25, 2023, from 10.30am to 6pm on the Pamookkoo Resort in Kata Beach, Phuket, where security and high quality are paramount.
The function of the event is for the PCA, hashish enterprise house owners, and private and non-private sectors to work collectively to co-create high quality and safety requirements for cannabis use, especially for foreign vacationers who’re coming into the Thai market. The objective is to develop the business collectively and to maximise advantages for all parties.
The event will function many actions and talks corresponding to enterprise matching, genetics and cultivation awards, the quickest rolling competitors, Bong Ripping competitors, Miss Cannabis (a cannabis-related knowledge contest), a dialogue panel about cloning and plant medicines (led by the chairman of Microclone Tissue Culture, Pure Food Gardening, and Tangent Bioscience), and a discussion on the future of Thai hashish legal guidelines.

The occasion has attracted a lot of curiosity from each Thais and foreigners. There shall be 50 participants in the primary competitors alone, with 24 cubicles of cannabis-related businesses, to be judged by eight educated judges who have long-term experience within the hashish business:
