A Phuket man was arrested lately after he allegedly stole telephone and communications cables throughout the island. The man allegedly offered the cables for scrap close to his home in Phang Nga.
Wichit police and members of the Crime Suppression Region 5 and officials from the TOT company showed up at Chaturong Bhumlamnao’s home to arrest him. The TOT had previously filed a proper complaint that cables had been being stolen throughout Phuket. Wichit police say that by way of the course of their investigation they decided that 2 culprits were liable for the thefts within the Wichit area. Shortly after zeroing in on the suspects’ location, an arrest warrant was issued for the thieves that brought the officers to Chaturong. It was not said by what means they decided his particular whereabouts.
Chaturong has been charged with committing theft along with different persons by using a vehicle, as acknowledged on the arrest warrant.
