A group of 30 vendors attacked three officers from the Ang Thong Police Station while they have been conducting a product piracy raid at a Thai market within the central province of Ang Thong on March 16. The law enforcement officials later filed a criticism about the assault while the distributors claimed they thought the officers have been pretend police.
The deputy inspector of the Ang Thong Police Station, Jakkapong Sisuwan, revealed that he and 7 different officers raided a market within the Saladaeng subdistrict of Ang Thong after being notified that counterfeit items were being bought there
During the raid, the investigating officers found several retailers promoting counterfeit phone instances. So, they seized the merchandise as proof and invited the distributors to the police station for additional questioning and prosecution. One man became indignant and gathered a group of men to attack the law enforcement officials. They turned off the lights the place there was a free for all and the men viciously attacked the cops.
Jakkapong said each officer had weapons with them but they didn’t struggle back. Instead, they steadily withdrew from the world and went to Pa Moke Hospital to get treated for his or her accidents. Jakkapong added that two different officers, Thanit Narkchan and Nonwithit Ditsapong, suffered gentle accidents. Mobile phones and tablets of some officers had been destroyed at the scene.
Protected have been later summoned for additional questioning. They informed the police that they thought the group had been pretend cops who came to extort their money. They claimed that they attacked the officers to guard themselves.
Ang Thong Police officers haven’t yet issued any expenses in opposition to the distributors, and the officers have insisted that they’ll provide justice for both parties concerned..
