At a checkpoint in Sangkhla Buri district in Kanchanaburi, 2 Thai women had been arrested smuggling 7 Burmese migrants and a child, apparently trying to move them again to Myanmar. The stop occurred at around 7 am this morning and the women have been arrested in violation of provincial communicable disease committee orders to forestall the spread of Covid-19.
Officials at the Chong Ua checkpoint at Moo 4 village in tambon Pang Phle stopped a Mitsubishi Triton pick-up truck travelling from the Thong Pha Phum district to Sangkhla Buri.
